How it works

Each card sits in one of five boxes. A new card starts in box 1 and is due straight away.

• Knew it: the card moves up one box (box 5 is the top and stays there).
• Missed it: the card goes back to box 1.
• When it comes back: box 1 waits 1 day, box 2 waits 2 days, box 3 waits 4 days, box 4 waits 8 days and box 5 waits 16 days.

A card counts as due when it is new or its wait is over. Choose "Due cards only" to review those, or "All cards" to review everything now.
